A PFT (Pulmonary Function Test), also known as spirometry, is a medical test used to assess the functioning of the lungs. It measures how well a person can breathe and how effectively the lungs are able to move air in and out. PFTs are commonly used to diagnose and monitor lung conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other respiratory disorders.
