Welcome to Charak
Diagnostics that a treating doctor can act on
Charak Diagnostic Centre brings pathology, radiology, nuclear medicine and cardiac investigation together under one roof, so a patient is not sent across the city to complete a single line of enquiry. The centre is built around the part that actually matters clinically: an accurate result, released on time, with an abnormal finding escalated to a human being rather than left in a queue.
Samples are barcoded at collection and tracked through every stage of processing. Imaging is archived so a follow-up study can be compared against the last one. Reports are released only to the patient or an authorised representative.
- Consultant-reported imaging
- Barcoded sample tracking
- Home sample collection
- 24 x 7 emergency support
What we do
Our Departments
Six services, each staffed and equipped to work independently — and designed to share one patient record so results can be read together.
Accredited — ISO 15189:2022
Recommended for CGHS empanelment
Why Charak
Why patients and doctors choose us
Four commitments we can be held to — each one is a promise about how the work is done, not a slogan.
Reported by consultants, not just machines
Every scan and every abnormal result is reviewed by a qualified consultant before it leaves the centre.
Pathology signed by a pathologist, imaging by a radiologist, isotope studies by a nuclear medicine physician
Turnaround you can plan around
Routine pathology the same day, most imaging within 24 hours, and a clear commitment given at the time of booking.
Cultures take 24–48 hours because bacteria grow at their own pace — we tell you that upfront rather than after
One centre, one record
Pathology, imaging, nuclear medicine and cardiac testing sit in a single record, so results can be compared over time.
802+ investigations under one roof, from a routine haemoglobin to PET-CT
Critical results are phoned, not filed
A dangerously abnormal result triggers a phone call to the treating doctor — it is never left sitting in a report queue.
The call is logged against the report, so there is a record that it was made

Leadership
Dr. Ashwani Singh
Director & CEO
Charak Diagnostic Centre has been run as a clinical practice rather than a testing shop for four decades. Pathology, radiology, nuclear medicine and cardiac investigation sit under one roof and share a single patient record, so a doctor can read results together instead of collecting them from four different places.
That work is measured against an external standard rather than an internal one: the laboratory is accredited by NABL against ISO 15189:2022 for medical testing, under certificate MC-2491.
The standard the centre holds itself to
A result is only useful if it is accurate, on time, and explained to the person who has to act on it.
